What is the Community Banker of the Year Award?
The New Hampshire Bankers Association annually honors one New Hampshire bank employee who has truly gone above and beyond to improve the State of New Hampshire through their civic and community engagement. He/she is a respected industry professional who has made a significant impact on those around them, by inspiring his/her peers to become involved in community service.
Since 1994, NH Bankers has honored an individual each year chosen by a panel of leading public officials. If your nominee did not receive the award in the past, we encourage you to submit your nomination again this year.
This prestigious award is presented during the banquet at our Annual Conference each year.
2023 Community Banker of the Year
We are pleased to announce our 2023 Community Banker of the year - Mark Bodin, President, Savings Bank of Walpole.
Mark was selected for this prestigious honor by an independent panel, comprised of leading elected officials from the State of New Hampshire. This year’s panel included: Senate President Jeb Bradley (R-Wolfeboro), Senate Democratic Leader Donna Soucy (D-Manchester) and Chair of the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, Rep. John Hunt (R-Rindge).
