Legislative Representation 

The New Hampshire Bankers Association is the voice for the state’s banking industry. A unified voice at both the Statehouse and on Capitol Hill promoting and initiating positive legislation and regulation for the New Hampshire banking industry. Subscription to the monthly Banking Brief, weekly e-bulletin Legislative Bulletin and other regular government, regulatory, compliance, training and bank products updates.


We provide members, media, and the public with the most up-to-date information relating to the association and the state banking industry. Through our website, events, and publications, we seek to emphasize the value of banks and their service to the community, as well as to provide information on the many regulatory and legislative changes the industry is currently facing. 

Professional Development

We provide our members educational programs and opportunities with access to the most up-to-date, innovative, and easily-accessible information that helps in your daily work lives. We continue to look for new and creative ways to bring this educational information to you. NH Bankers is busy all year providing half-day, full-day, and week-long programs to our members, either independently or partnering with others. Member rates and discounts on professional education designed specifically to meet the needs of New Hampshire bankers.

Networking Opportunities

The opportunity to network with hundreds of other New Hampshire bankers at events, or through particpation on one of many NH Bankers boards, committees and taskforces. By becoming involved, you have the opportunity to network with your peers – and make a positive difference in our industry. 

Endorsed Vendors and Associate Members

To help our member banks become more efficient and effective, we work to find the highest quality products, services and solutions the industry has to offer. Vendors selected are those we feel are the best fit for our members and the association. The opportunity to generate revenue and save costs through collective buying programs provides advantageous pricing on bank products and services.

Our mission is to find those companies that are offering what NH Bankers members need; and provide the research and due diligence necessary to ensure that only the very best receive an endorsement.

Insurance Services

NH Bankers helps to protect your bank, your bank’s employees and their families, with a variety of insurance coverages. Our wholly-owned affiliate, New Hampshire Bankers Services, LLC is licensed to sell or broker insurance products for all types, including medical, dental and life.
We also offer life insurance through New England Insurance Trust (NEIT), a not-for-profit organization that provides an outstanding Group Mortgage Life Insurance Program which pools premiums and claims experience of over 130 financial institutions throughout New England.


Any state-chartered bank, commercial bank, savings bank, cooperative bank, savings and loan association or building and loan association or federally-chartered savings association or national bank which is authorized to accept deposits and has a principal place of business or a branch or branches within the State of New Hampshire may become a Member.  

Any other institution which is engaged in a banking or trust business may become a Member with the approval of the Board of Directors and shall be considered a Qualified Bank for purposes hereof.  If a  Bank is a member of a multi-bank holding company having more than all Qualified Banks within the holding company are considered to be part of a single banking organization with the holding company holding the membership.  Such bank holding company must be a Member in order for its affiliates to have Organizational Standing.
