Fall Washington DC Virtual Visit 2020

Fall Washington DC Virtual Visit 2020
This year we will be joining bankers and industry leaders from across the Northeast for a virtual meeting with agency leadership and lawmakers to ensure policies crucial to the banking industry remain front and center, and to provide a forum for critical questions from your bank.
You will join bankers in the Northeast, which includes Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

While we hope to return to an in-person visit in Washington, D.C. next year with the Maine and Vermont Bankers Associations, we are excited about this year's meeting.

Meetings with Regulators begin on Monday, Oct. 5th & Tuesday, Oct. 6th with briefings about key issues facing our industry with the ABA and ICBA in advance.  Meetings include:

  • Federal Reserve Board Governor Michelle Bowman
  • OCC Acting Comptroller Brian Brooks
  • CFPB Director Kathy Kraninger
  • FDIC Chairman Jelena McWilliams

The ABA is organizing this year's Washington Fly-in You and will not want to miss out on this opportunity to engage with regulators about the need for commonsense policies and smart reform that will help America's banks better serve their communities and grow the economy.  Membership in the ABA or ICBA is not required to attend.
