Fall Washington Visit

Fall Washington Visit
The New Hampshire Bankers Association in collaboration with Maine Bankers Association and Vermont Bankers Association will host a visit to Washington, D.C. on October 1-2, 2018.

Bankers will have the chance to meet directly with their respective elected officials on Capitol Hill, and interact with the federal banking agencies. Participants will engage with leadership at the American Bankers Association (ABA) and Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and learn about the hot legislative and regulatory issues.

There is no charge for this event.

Accommodations will be at the Washington Marriott Georgetown, 1221 22nd Street NW. Reservations must be made by Sunday, September 16, 2018 to receive the group rate of $249.00 for single or double occupancy, plus 14.5% tax.

Hotel Reservations

Deadline for Hotel reservations is Sunday September 16, 2018

All registered bankers will be required to submit full name, date of birth and Social Security Number for security clearance at federal agencies.

The agencies require this information to pre-clear attendees through security, and must have in advance of the briefing to complete the checks. If they do not have correct information listed for you as an attendee, you will be unable to attend the briefings.

As this is sensitive information, please supply it directly to Ryan Hale by calling him at 603-224-5373 or sending in a password protected format at rhale@nhbankers.com. Please supply no later than EOD, Friday, September 14.

PLEASE NOTE: Because of REAL ID requirements, all visitors, regardless of the state they are from, bring a federally issued form of identification to avoid any problems (i.e. someone has an old license or ID that is not REAL ID compliant even if their state is compliant). Various forms of federally issued identification are listed here. This map shows if your state’s driver licenses are REAL ID compliant, if your state has been granted an extension or if they are non-compliant.

CANCELLATIONS: Although there is no registration fee, guarantees for food must be provided in advance. Cancellations after noon on Friday, September 14, 2018 may be subject to a $150 fee. Cancellations may be made by notifying the NH Bankers office at (603) 224-5373.
