NH Bankers Association Announces 2018 Community Banker of the Year Award Recipient: Peter Rayno – Executive Vice President/NH Banking & Lending Director Of Enterprise Bank 

New Hampshire Bankers Association (NH Bankers) announced that Peter Rayno, Executive Vice President/NH Banking and Lending Director of Enterprise Bank, as the recipient of the "2018 Community Banker of the Year" award. The announcement was made at NH Bankers’ Annual Conference this past weekend, held at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire.

Rayno was selected for this prestigious honor by a panel of leading public officials from the State of New Hampshire, including State Senate President Chuck Morse, Representative John Hunt, State Treasurer William Dwyer, and Kathleen Reardon, Executive Director, NH Non-profits.

Rayno was supported by several organizations, including the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, where he played a leadership role in stabilizing and strengthening the organization. The president of the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce, Donna Morris, said Rayno “was a major contributor to getting the Chamber back on its feet and the Chamber is here today because of this his contributions.” 
Rayno was also supported by the Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) where he served ten years on the Board of Directors, with much of that time spent on the Loan Committee as well. He also participated in REDC’s strategic planning committee for many years and always made sure to have their staff participate in their outreach. 

Rayno was supported by NH PBS, where he serves on their board of directors. He offers valued insight, sound advice and has helped their development team better identify potential partners. Rayno is completely engaged, volunteering to help in any way he can.

Rayno’s tremendous commitment to the greater Southern NH Community has played a critical role in the region's economic development and job creation, serving as a champion of small businesses and start-ups, seeking opportunities to finance small businesses that otherwise would not have access to necessary capital. He focuses on not only providing financial resources, but also on linking entrepreneurs with community resources and leading by example - emphasizing the importance of giving back, guiding and inspiring them to become engaged and philanthropic corporate citizens.
